Sailing the Gulf we followed the Siren’s song to Destiny East in Destin, Florida.

Me Hearties, big and little, were weary from the journey. We plundered the gates, no shipwreck here – only a beautiful Castle fit for a Queen!

We claimed Q Castle, with its riches beyond compare! A treasure for sure for the Emerald Coast.

Mates entered a cavern and saw the wonders of ping-pong, cornhole, darts and more.

Arrgh! A magic box showed scallywags romping with a pile of beach booty we found on the shelves, all the beach gear one could ever need.

Me First Mate started a small machine, bright red in color, that whisked him away to the beach in three minutes! (Included at no additional cost)

We entered the Castle, “Shiver me timbers!”, a beautiful lassie greeted us shouting “Avast ye and welcome to the Q Castle!”

The Q Castle can hold your crew of twelve comfortably in the following quarters:

*Siren’s Retreat* - Queen bed & twin bunks on the first floor, with closet, tiled bath and shower and connected to the Pirate’s Den - Entertainment area with a billiards table, bar, icemaker, large TV and library.

*Capt’n Quarters* - King bed on the second floor with cavernous closet, luxury bath with soaking tub, walk in shower and heated floor.

*First Mate’s Folly* - Queen bed & twin bunks on the second floor, with amble closet space, and a tiled bath and shower.

*Deckhand’s Den* - Two twin bunks on the third floor, connected to den with an office desk with printer, a TV, and two balconies to soak in the views.

A full bath is also featured on the first floor for mates returning from the beach or pool. In total the Castle has 4.5 baths to keep your mates tidy.

The First Mate yelled “Land Ho” and we went through the moving doors to spy a putting green in a fenced backyard. The outdoor kitchen made the cook very happy. Some deckhands jumped in the Scallywag Soaker (Hot tub) while the rest rode the Red Pirate Cruiser back from the beach to dine in a gourmet kitchen.

The Gated Community of Destiny East shares with the crew: a large clubhouse; two community pools; tennis/pickleball/basketball courts; gymnasium; playground; large theater; outdoor grills; dining areas and walking trails. For more information see the Destiny East website.

Close to Q Castle:

Destin Commons – an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment area. (just a few minutes away)

World-class dining, golfing, fishing, shopping while surrounding by the beautiful emerald beaches of Destin.

Harbor Walk Village & Crab Island are two of the most popular destinations.

In addition, we were given an Xplorie Activity Package for free Buccaneer Pirate Ship, Cruisin’ Tikis and other activities.

Rules for Thee:

Primary renter age 25 yrs +
Registered crew-only, no parties, events or unregistered crew guests overnight
No smoking or vaping inside or out of the Castle
Quiet hours 10 pm - 8 am
Parking for four vehicles (no trailers, RV’s, boats or large vehicles) in driveway only!
No street parking overnight allowed.

Guests of the Q Castle must follow the homeowner’s association (HOA) rules or risk “walking the plank”. You will be charged many pieces of eight (no refunds), as required and risk never returning to this paradise for specific violations.

Anchor your ship starting at 4 pm
Depart for the Seven Seas no later than 10 am

We used the elevator to load the ship and bid a soft farewell. A well-earned rest was had by all at the Q Castle by the beach.
